Hans Koller collaborated with legendary American saxophonist Steve Lacy on the acclaimed 2004 album London Ear, recorded shortly before Lacy’s death. This session featured original compositions by Koller and Lacy, alongside original arrangements, highlighting a creative meeting between the Anglo-German composer/improviser and the pioneering soprano saxophonist.
This new project is a tribute to Lacy inspired by Koller's ongoing musical partnership with Tony Kofi and Noah Ojumu, working on the music of Thelonious Monk.
