German rock band Torfrock, formed by Klaus Büchner and Raymond Voß in 1976, is known for its German-language classic rock with humor. They gained cult status with hits like "Beinhart." After an '82 hiatus, they returned in '88, released "Alle an die Ruder!" in '90, and continued touring, celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2001.
