Formed in northern Germany in 1976 by Klaus Büchner and Raymond Voß, Torfrock performs German-language classic rock infused with plainspoken northern humor. They released their debut album, Dat Matscht So Schön, in 1977. Following a hiatus, they scored a major hit with Beinhart.
