Toshi, a pioneer of Japanese R&B, debuted in 1986 with Sony Music. Known for unique style and vocals, he moved to NYC in 1993, releasing English albums and performing on Soul Train. He’s penned hits for films, TV, and commercials, and collaborated with Daniel Jobim and Musiq Soulchild.
