LineUp

Haircut 100, an iconic '80s band, hailed from the UK with hits like 'Love Plus One' and 'Fantastic Day'. Their debut album, 'Pelican West', hit #2 and went Platinum. Reunited in 2023, they connected as old friends, sparking a revival with a UK tour and a Radio 2 session, embodying a joyful return to their roots.
British dance-pop trio Right Said Fred, formed by Sussex-born brothers Richard and Fred Fairbrass with Rob Manzoli, is best known for the 1992 U.S. chart-topping hit "I'm Too Sexy." Known for their catchy, campy style, they achieved U.K. hits with tracks like "Don't Talk Just Kiss" and "Deeply Dippy." They shifted focus to Germany, finding success with albums "Fredhead" and "Stand Up." Also known for collaborations with Nena, their music reflects a humorous take on pop culture.
The Escape Club, formed in 1983 in the U.K., gained fame with their Grammy-nominated hit "Wild Wild West." Known for blending rock with dance beats, their debut "White Fields" is a fan favorite. They followed with hits like "Shake for the Sheikh" and "I'll Be There." Trevor Steel and John Holliday later wrote UK hits.
Martha Davis, from Berkeley, joined The Motels, hitting it big with hits like "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer." The band achieved gold record status with their unique sound. After brief breakup, Davis went solo and later reformed The Motels.
Animotion, known for '80s synth pop hits like "Obsession" and "Room to Move," achieved early success but faced lineup changes, briefly shining before disbanding. Reunited later, focusing on nostalgic appeal.
Men Without Hats, born in Vancouver, are new wave electro-pop pioneers led by Ivan and Colin Doroschuk. Known for "The Safety Dance" and "Pop Goes the World," they've toured globally and had their hits inducted into the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame. Collaborating with Colin's daughter, Sahara Sloan, their synth-pop legacy continues with a blend of analog and digital sounds.
Musical Youth, formed in Birmingham, hit it big with "Pass the Dutchie" in 1982. Known for ska and reggae, their lineup included Dennis Seaton and the Waite brothers. Collaborated with Donna Summer; disbanded in 1985 but later reformed.
