LineUp

U.K. anarchist punk band Subhumans, formed in 1980 in Wiltshire, are known for their literate, athletic style, akin to The Clash and Crass. Popular albums include "The Day the Country Died" and "From the Cradle to the Grave." After disbanding in 1985, they reformed in 1998, releasing albums like "Internal Riot."
The U.K. Subs, founded by Charlie Harper in 1976, are pivotal to the second wave of British punk, known for their aggressive, anthemic sound. Their debut, "Another Kind of Blues" (1979), and subsequent albums like "Brand New Age" established their commercial success. Despite frequent lineup changes, Harper maintained their energy. Influenced by early Clash, their style later embraced heavy metal. The band earned acclaim for live performances and notable works like "Crash Course." Their legacy spans over four decades, continuously resonating with punk fans across the globe.
