Uri Caine, a Philadelphia-born jazz pianist and composer, is celebrated for his eclectic blend of jazz, classical, and electronic music. Known for his adventurous jazz reinventions of classical compositions, Caine first gained attention with the 1992 album "Sphere Music" with clarinetist Don Byron. His acclaimed works include “The Goldberg Variations” and the Grammy-nominated “The Othello Syndrome.” Collaborating with artists like Christian McBride, Questlove, and Dave Douglas, Caine's innovative style has made a significant impact on the jazz and classical music scenes.
Paolo Fresu, a renowned Sardinian trumpeter, blends jazz, world, and contemporary music, has 350+ recordings, led Jazz Seminars in Nuoro, and directs Berchidda Festival.
