About Bridgewater Hall

The Bridgewater Hall is a 2,355-capacity concert hall in Manchester city centre, England, opened in 1996 as a modern replacement for the Free Trade Hall. Renowned for its striking postmodern architecture, the entire venue rests on 280 springs, a unique engineering feat designed to insulate it from external noise and vibrations.
