Miami-born rapper Vanilla Ice scored a 1990 No. 1 hit with "Ice Ice Baby" and the album To the Extreme, which spent 16 weeks at No. 1 and sold over seven million copies. He starred in the 1990 film Cool as Ice, then later released Mind Blowin'.
