Formed in 1982 in Jonquière, Quebec, Voivod are influential thrash/prog metal innovators. Their 1989 album Nothingface was their biggest success, and 2001’s Voivod featured ex-Metallica bassist Jason Newsted. Won a Juno for 2019’s The Wake.

Electric Citizen is a Cincinnati-based rock band formed in 2012, blending vintage psychedelia with heavy rock ’n’ roll. Known for fuzzed-out riffs and haunting melodies, they’ve released three albums, including Helltown (2018), and toured with Pentagram and Fu Manchu.
