Frontman John Barrett formed Bass Drum of Death, returning to their early GarageBand roots for their sixth album, SIX. Recorded in Nashville with producer Jeremy Ferguson and bandmates Jim Barrett and Ian Kirkpatrick, the scuzzy release draws inspiration from The Stooges and ZZ Top.

Wavves

Wavves, led by Nathan Williams with bandmates Stephen Pope, Ross Traver, and Alex Gates, returned with Spun, their first album since 2021, written in Williams’ backyard shed. Known for raw energy, sharp songwriting, and sunburned punk hooks.
