Joseph Poole, known as Wednesday 13, originated from North Carolina. The "Duke of Spook" is a horror punk and glam metal icon, recognized for his macabre themes, dark humor, and theatrical stage presence. He fronted Murderdolls and Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13, in addition to a prolific solo career. Notable albums include Transylvania 90210 and Mid Death Crisis, with popular songs like "I Walked with a Zombie." He has collaborated with artists like Taime Downe and Lord of the Lost.

NYC rock band Black Satellite, led by frontwoman Larissa Vale, blends industrial and metal. Debut album Endless spawned the single Valkyrie. Released a Rammstein “Sonne” cover in 2021 and singles Void and Broken; toured with John 5 and Cradle of Filth.

Moldovan metal band Infected Rain formed in 2008, led by vocalist Elena “Lena Scissorhands” Cataraga. Their debut album Asylum arrived in 2011; sixth studio album, TIME, was released Feb 9, 2024.
