King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, formed in Melbourne in 2010, are known for their prolific, experimental style spanning jazz-rock to thrash metal. Born in La Romana, Dominican Republic, Optimo is a renowned bachata singer and songwriter. Now based in New York, he has 4 Billboard Tropical #1 hits, including "El Cuchillo" and "Conéctate."
Helena Hauff, from Hamburg, is renowned for her gritty electro-techno, influenced by acid house and industrial music. Notable works include albums "Discreet Desires" (2015) and "Qualm" (2018). Hauff uniquely records with analog gear, often in a single take. Her DJ career began at Hamburg's Golden Pudel Club, earning the BBC Essential Mix of 2017.
