Raised near Milwaukee, contemporary folk singer and songwriter Willy Porter is known for his fingerpicking guitar stylings and blues-infused music. After getting his start busking, he gained prominence in the 1990s following the re-release of Dog Eared Dream. He has since released numerous albums, including Available Light and How to Rob a Bank, and opened for major acts like Tori Amos and Paul Simon.
