Former Alice Cooper bassist, Kip Winger formed pop-metal band Winger in 1987. Known for hits like "Seventeen" and "Miles Away," the group enjoyed early success, selling millions. Post-1993, Kip pursued a solo career and later reunited the band in 2002 for more albums and tours.

Firehouse, a late '80s pop-metal band, had early hits like "Don't Treat Me Bad." Their debut album went platinum. Known for melodic rock, they've maintained success, especially in Japan.
