Wolfgang Ambros and WIR4

Austrian singer/songwriter and AustroPop pioneer Wolfgang Ambros became a homeland folk-rock staple. He broke through in 1971 with the single "Da Hofer," released over 30 albums, and is best known for "Schifoan," linked with skiing in Austria.

WIR4 is an Austrian rock band formed by former Austria 3 members Ulli Bäer, Gary Lux, Harald Fendrich, and Harry Stampfer. They are known for handmade music, blending rock classics with Viennese lyrics, original compositions, and international covers. Their repertoire includes iconic Austria 3 hits and their own songs, often presented with humorous moderations. They contribute significantly to Austrian music as producers and musicians.
