Bio

Before Mötley Crüe, before RATT, and even before Metallica, Y&T became popular by opening for headliners and honing their craft on the live stage. Emerging from Oakland, California, they were innovators of the hard rock sound.

Legacy and Influence

Y&T's high-energy set and passionate performances captivate fans globally, proving their music is timeless. Originally formed as Yesterday and Today, the original lineup featured:

• Dave Meniketti (lead guitar/lead vocals)
• Phil Kennemore (bass)
• Leonard Haze (drums)
• Joey Alves (rhythm guitar)

They tore through the 70s and 80s with their brand of hard rock. After releasing two albums in the 70s under London Records, they shortened their name to Y&T.

Discography

The band has a discography of 18 albums, three greatest hits collections, and a boxed set. Their recent single, "I'm Coming Home," has reached roughly 1.5 million views on YouTube. Hits like "Don't Stop Runnin'" and "Summertime Girls" received heavy rotation on MTV and continue to be played on VH1 Classic and classic rock radio stations worldwide.

Continuing the Legacy

With the passing of Kennemore, Haze, and Alves, it's Meniketti who carries on the legacy of Y&T's five-decade career, continuing to perform all the hits and fan favorites. Prepare to have your face melted!
