Chicago-born Ying Quartet, comprising sibling musicians Timothy, Janet, Phillip, and David, fuses classical with non-traditional works. Winners of the 1993 Naumberg Award and a Grammy, they've collaborated with Turtle Island String Quartet and others. Educational residencies include Harvard and Eastman School of Music.
