Founded in 1931 in Washington, D.C., the National Symphony Orchestra is a celebrated American ensemble. It excels in classical and contemporary orchestral music, known for innovative programming and artistic excellence. The NSO commissions new works, has critically acclaimed recordings, and collaborates with diverse artists, including those in hip-hop. It was nominated for Gramophone's Orchestra of the Year.
Yolanda Adams, a Texas native, is a powerhouse gospel singer known for her R&B-influenced gospel style.
