She is known for her sharp, relatable family humor and unapologetically Indian-immigrant-mom perspective, addressing immigrant and American life. Her comedy specials include "One in a Billion" and "Practical People Win." A New York Times bestselling author of "This American Woman," she won Kevin Hart's Lyft Comics and a Ladies of Laughter Award. She was also named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch.
