A Candlelight concert in Manchester surrounds live strings or piano with flickering candles, giving the city's churches and halls a warm, unhurried atmosphere for familiar music.
Among the locations are Hallé St Peter's, a restored church in Ancoats used as a rehearsal and recording space; Manchester Cathedral, a medieval building near Victoria Station; and St Ann's Church, an 18th-century church on St Ann's Square.
Programmes typically move between classical repertoire and reworked modern hits.
