A Candlelight concert in Austin sets classical and modern music against hundreds of flickering candles, giving the city's live music scene a quieter, more intimate kind of evening.
Performances rotate through varied venues. Among the settings are St David's Episcopal Church, a historic downtown sanctuary whose stone interior carries acoustic sets warmly, and the Austin Scottish Rite Theater, one of the city's oldest theaters, with an intimate hall suited to close-up candlelit shows.
Programs span a wide range of styles.
