Food was good! Ordered Uber eats and I’d do so again. Got the double burger and chicken sandwich. Fries were skinny and crunchy, unfortunately a bit cold but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. The burger meat is why this is a 4/5, not the best but not bad.

Setting is quite cool, with heavy metal music (very very high!) and nice graffitis all over the walls. Food is okay and prices are Sydney-level. Place is quite small, so we had to queue to sit down. Some of the staff didn’t look amazed to be there.

Small, sweaty and poorly ventilated. There’s very little oxygen in the air by the end of the night. The food is overpriced and low quality. Eat out before you arrive. This place would benefit from air conditioning and better ventilation. It was cooler when it was The Basement. Not a Mary’s burger joint.

The bartenders were hella nice and the live music was good too. We dined there for dinner and food was great. A little disappointed that it was $3 for a small roll of bread and they didn’t provided enough bread for the pate so I ended up ordering like $12 worth of bread for myself (just for entrees) LOL. But ye in general would recommend. Their duck is to die for and we really regretted not ordering two of those bad boys. Ended up fighting over who can have the drum stick. I lost.

Had such a lovely time here. Great atmosphere, cool band (Tuesday jazz night), attentive staff and delicious menu!! Started off with the ceviche which was amazing!! Then had the black rice with pippis which is squid ink... very good!! Then a silk handkerchief pasta.. silky indeed!! Then a fancy french pie with cheese and peas inside.. wasn't as heavy as it looks so don't be afraid! Side of corn because of course and finished with a beautiful fig tarte. My only sad moment for the evening was being sold to on the lovely sounding description of the paté only to find that it was sold out and at the beginning of the night. But will definitely be back and sampling the rest of this decadent menu (and the music of course!)
