The Octagon Theatre, a 683-capacity thrust stage theatre located on the University of Western Australia's Crawley campus in Perth, opened in 1969 as Australia's first of its kind. Its unique design, offering unparalleled intimacy with no patron more than 12 meters from the stage, provides excellent sightlines for a diverse program of opera, classical and popular music, dance, theatre, and comedy. The versatile stage can also be reconfigured to accommodate up to 758 patrons.
