State Theatre Concerts 2026

Old world ornate and simply amazing. We were entertained by Dawn French in comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. It was easy to see the stage, and the sound quality was perfect.

Outstanding show. Chris Isaac at his best. He is absolutely ageless. He's singing abilities and music playing are fantastic. Would definitely see again. As for the State Theatre, it is an amazing venue with an historic atmosphere. Absolutely recommend experiencing it for yourself.

Went on a fascinating tour of the State Theatre today....so much history and information! It's 100 years old in 2029. Was so interesting to see behind the scenes and hear about it's construction plus info about other theatres in Sydney 🎭

The State Theatre is a beautiful theatre located in the heart of the CBD. Close to the QVB and Westfield shopping complex. The long standing staff at the candy bar greet you warmly and are always friendly. The ushers are also more than happy to guide you to your seats. We saw Dawn French which is incredible in itself. Dawn is a world renowned comedian, actress, and writer who we adore. It was a real thrill to see her live and in the State Theatre. Plenty of parking locations in walking distance, taxis located outside the doors and public transport with either buses or Town Hall station within a minutes walk.

Absolutely wonderful experience... One of my favourite standup comedians, Kevin Bridges, performing at the State Theatre... Ordering & paying for my ticket was a breeze... I went to pick up my ticket prior to the night and I was given all necessary information. My seat was purchased relatively late, so I was dreading where I would end up. However, I had a clear view of Kevin, even though I was sitting quite high up. The sound was very clear... Difficult to get a drink during the interval as there was a long queue... Other than that, nothing to remark. Really enjoyed the night in a magnificent theatre from a by gone era...
