The Uniting Church in Australia Concerts

Went to the 'Candlelight: Tribute to Coldplay' event... such a wonderful, unique experience! 😉👌 I've never been inside this beautiful old church before, but so happy to see it come alive to the serene sounds of a string quartet... I'm sure the parishioners from the 1880s would be surprised to see such a performance... But they'd also be happy that this lovely church was full to capacity! 🤗 Hot tip: if it's a hot day... be sure to bring a fan and wear loose clothing because it gets crazy hot in there... and there's no AC! 🥵

A beautiful evening. I had no idea there was a poem associated with Vivaldi's Four seasons, the explanation of each season helped to better understand the rise, drop and different sounds and rhythms in the music. The candles along with the venue added to the inviting and peaceful ambience of the experience amd despite a medical emergency that was completely out of the musician's control, the night was handled with care and grace. Thank you.

Great soloist n sonnet! It was a beautiful concerto with such a good harmony n team play 😊 but too warm inside and the announcements was hard to hear. The music was absolute pleasure 💕
