The Princess Theatre Concerts 2024-2025

Absolutely delightful venue, wonderful staging for Reuben Kayes snappy and sharp witted show! Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a wine in the cafe/bar and marvelled at the restoration having seen the early process of renovations.

Wow, this is an awesome venue! There is a mezzanine level so you can get a great view of the stage from comfortable seats up high! The sound is good, even from the mezzanine level, as well. The bar has a good range of craft beers on tap as well as spirits. The toilets are clean and have been renovated recently which is a nice bonus. The beer garden is decent and has a relaxed vibe as well.

First time here, and it was pretty nice! I saw the punk band Lagwagon here. Intimate venue with nice sound. A large toilet block stayed pretty clean and stocked with paper towels and soap throughout the night. Bar was okay. The majority was craft beer. Not my taste, so went with a Great Northern. Overall not a bad place. 🙂

A Lovely historical theatre. Terrific venue to watch a show or concert. Parking nearby at Princess Parking was $5 on our Saturday night. One of the highlights is the bar 'Fables' attached to the theatre. The staff there are caring and professional .. they know their stuff!! Great cocktails and seating inside and out. A great stop off before the event. Being an old theatre of course there is the usual long lineup for the toilets as there are not enough cubicles especially for the ladies. A few eateries nearby but mainly takeaway. There is also a bar in the downstairs area of theatre for drinks during concerts. A balcony outside upstairs is lovely for interval with some seating and stools provided. The night we attended there was only standing tickets areas down stairs. The seating upstairs, which was very limited, was for those, like us, who had bought tickets for this area. (I'm not sure if they ever have downstairs seating).

I've visited this venue for a few different events, and it's always been super enjoyable, great lighting, sound ane atmosphere. They also have drinks available too, which is always nice. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Easy Wheelchair access via a lift.
