KIKAS has been active as a voluntary cultural association in the event sector since 1999. The event hall is a former cinema and offers a special flair for artists and visitors. The aim of the association is to promote cultural activities for young people, to convey art and culture, and to promote discourse about art and culture. Guest artists included Andreas Vitasek, Stermann & Grissemann, Maschek, Andrea Handel, Alfred Dorfer, Roland Düringer, Lukas Resetarits, Alf Poier, Dolores Schmidinger, Gerhard Polt, Thomas Maurer, Josef Hader, Scheuba and Palfrader. The musicians We Are Heroes, Juli, Tito & Tarantula, Die Happy, Fettes Brot, Sido, Flying Pickets, Tagträumer, etc. also performed.
