Passionsspielhaus Erl Concerts

We loved the passion play. It was a very nice experience with a great production. The Erl villagers make it fantastic - the young people and children are just as enthusiastic as their parents and grandparents. I can only recommend it!

Passion Theater in Erl, Tyrol, Austria. The unusual architecture of the theater attracts attention, and it is usually used as an opera theater at the Ertirol Festival. Wagner's operas, the representative performances of the Erltyol Music Festival, can be heard here with excellent acoustics.

Today we watched “Das Rheingold” by Richard Wagner. It was my first opera "live" (and not just on television)... I was thrilled. The stage design was quite spartan, but it didn't detract from my first visit. The sound was excellent and I would come here again 😊
