The Herz-Jesu-Kirche, a 4,000-capacity Neo-Gothic church in Graz, Austria, stands as the city's largest church, renowned for its impressive 109.6-meter spire and intricate design by architect Georg Hauberrisser, built between 1881 and 1887. Its vast interior, adorned with stunning stained glass windows and soaring architecture, provides a uniquely atmospheric setting for diverse cultural events, including popular classical and contemporary concerts.
One of the most beautiful churches in town! In autumn they show iconic silent movies with life organ music

The most beautiful church I ever had visited. Very calm atmosphere. Beautiful shining lights. If you like gothic style buildings you must visit

The Herz Jesu Kirche is a Neogothic cathedral built towards the end of the 19th century (1881 - 1887) boasting the third highest tower in Austria (after Stephankirche in Vienna and the New Cathedral in Linz). The architecture is splendid and what struck me about the interior was that even on a gloomy day it felt full of light. The stained glass is exquisite and the church is adorned with murals as well as the typical catholic painted altars.
