The Rein Abbey is the oldest active Cistercian monastery in the world...magnificently colorful baroque...frescoes worth seeing...beautiful library...be sure to take a guided tour...that's the only way to get to the Gothic cross chapel...that too Stiftstaverne is worth a visit

Beautiful in the inner nave. Somewhat in need of renovation on the outside

The basilica and the church are beautiful but what fascinated me most was the STUNNING library.
