Two top tips: First, if you must go, get the audioguide - the whole place is pointless without it. Second, do yourself a favour and don't go - even with the audioguide it is awful. It's almost entirely copies of pictures, documents and portraits, plus a few digital "installations", beautifully presented to be fair. Much is of questionable relevance to Mozart and indeed to the saccharin audioguide. The very few artefacts dotted around are not even Mozart's. There's almost nothing to learn here, and it's not enjoyable.

Not worth the 14€ entry. Nothing original, all replicas and pictures of pictures. Mostly bare apartment, no furniture and not many items relating to his life. Since there's not many items they try to create a narrative instead of letting pieces speak for themselves in many museums. Only the first floor of Mozart's apartment is about him, second floor and third floor are not. Some rules were loosely enforced and seemingly against Asians only, notably the no backpacks/backpacks need to be worn in front & no photography allowed, when a lot of people were wearing backpacks and taking pictures and videos....

I'm personally disappointed. Mozart lived in this house, but you won't see much personal about him. It's as if it was forcibly turned into a museum; This is a place where general narratives about his life are presented rather than the memories he lived at home...

This is one of Mozart's apartments in Vienna and there's an exhibition over three floors where you can learn everything about his life, work and death. The final floor is the actual apartment and than there's a cut gift shop as well. The ticket also comes with an audio guide but to be honest it's quite lengthy for the amount of the objects there's to see and I wish there were more seats as it takes more than one hour to listen to the entire thing. Most things at the gift shops are a bit overpriced compared to what you can get at souvenirs stores just down the street.

Actually, it is only the house, nothing left originally from Mozart’s house, but decorated in a way with items from that time, audioguide is free and given at admission, well designed museum
