Votivkirche Concerts 2024

Votivkirche is free to enter, and looks absolutely magnificent inside and outside! The architecture is definitely eye-catching, and the way things are lit up, combined with the pretty stained glass pieces around the church make up for a truly beautiful sight!

This is effectively st Stephen’s church in the city of Vienna. It is a short stroll from the local railway barn. After a series of tab and train rides consisting of one hour, we found ourselves in the middle if the city staring at this beautiful church. Well worth a walk for a visit. Cheers big ears

Lavish church at the heart of Vienna. Splendid temple that emerges behind the University with its richly decorated towers. Inside it is even more magical thanks to the mutiple contrasts between the lights from the stained glass windows and the shadows. For sure students find a moment of shelter and peace between these walls during the difficult exam periods.

Lavish gothic church. I'm not a big fan of such expensive to make religious buildings, but they spent their money wisely. Glass art is really worth seeing, and extremely high ceiling inside gives another perspective. Those who cherish religious tourism should definitely take a gander. Church did seem empty.

Nice Gothic church near the Rathaus in Vienna. There weren't too many people when I was there. It was pretty cold inside (being December), so remembering a coat during the winter is imperative. Beautiful stained glass windows. I also caught the rehearsals for a Christmas concert, which was really lovely.
