De Roma Concerts 2024-2025

Lovely older concert venue. Beer is served in hard plastic cups but not too expensive. Sound quality is acceptable and the line up usually quite good. For less mobile people they have a large seated balcony.

We went to the concert of psychodelic musician Gaye Su Akyol. We had an incredibly nice atmosphere and a pleasant time. The beers are price is very affordable. People who come can establish good communication with each other. We will often go to other people's concerts. Its proximity to the city center. It is a very beautiful situation.

Intimate concert venue with a huge balcony. For balcony seats you have to be there early. Gets really warm so don't keep on your coat and sweater.

Great venue just outside the city of Antwerp. An 18th century theatre that is run by volunteers and is being considerately renovated. I visited late 2023 and overall the venue was in great condition. The band sounded good, the beer selection was varied, the staff were all very polite and helpful. I arrived just before the support band began and got one of the few remaining seats upstairs in the balcony area. I'd love to go back and see something else here. It's about a 40min walk from the historic centre or €15 by taxi. There's not a lot else in the vicinity, though a barman did tell me the area was slowly being gentrified. A few bars and takeaways on the main drag, not a lot else.

One of, if not the very, best music venues I've had the privilege to visit. Their processes of operation made for a fluid experience: entry, coat check, merch, seating, bar and exit! Well balanced sound and intimate performance.
