We bought a combo ticket along with mini Europe and loved the show. Our show was secret of stars and it was fantastic for kids and grown up alike There is a washroom and sitting space inside it, and very supportive staff.

I was there for the candlelight concert. It is very nice to have it in the planetarium, but it would have been better if they left it dark instead of the visual show they did on the roof. The staff were very attentive and it was a pleasant event. It was also a very animal-loving area, we saw a little mouse in the hall during the concert :))

To be honest the place could be run better. Apart from three interactive exhibits, nothing else was on. I was not offered a VR set tour and I was told that they really operate as a theater for screening short movies. They have set times for different films in a specious theater and audio is available in different languages through a headset. Of course this part of my visit was spectacular. However not much to do while waiting for the show to start. Lots of the space related photographs situated on the landing are removed. Two vending machines in the cafeteria and no lockers for bags or coats while watching. There is a little shop where one could purchase from a paper solid eclipse glasses, through space themed stamps, to diy solar system solar-battery-operated models. They also sell range of books and it is all in Dutch. The staff was helpful. There is an exhibition of specific purpose calculators and units converters. There is a wall designated to the Mark II zeiss planetarium projector but also only in Dutch so you will need a translator if you don't have any within your skills set . There are also two lens bearing spheres on display. It could be significantly improved.

An institution worth a visit. The Royal Planetarium in Brussels offers a variety of movies shown in the impressive dome structure. The movies were not the latest at the time of our visit, but still nice to watch in the special scene of the dome and very informative. It was available in several languages. There is also a movie explaining the current star view. The ground floor offers some exhibits, however without much structure or thorough explanation (it is not a museum). It is easy to reach, has a small parking and a small shop with fun science models and toys. Do not let the out of date look and feel stop you from visiting: especially children and grownups with an interest in space and astronomy will love it.

It was just a video projected into the planetarium dome. Then a very short sky showcased of a couple of constellations. For me doesn't worth the time. However before our turn, a school group aound 40 kids looked very satisfied :)
