Deer Lake Park Reviews

Perfect for a stroll and taking in the breathtaking scenery! I visited this park with my family and had an amazing time. You can even rent a boat and enjoy swimming around and having a blast! It's a great spot to spend time with loved ones and connect with nature. Just note that swimming might not be allowed in all areas, so be sure to check the park rules before heading out on the water."

Deer Lake is a beautiful escape from the city hustle, offering serene views and a peaceful atmosphere. Whether you're looking to go for a gentle walk, have a picnic, or just enjoy some quiet time by the water, this place is perfect. The trails are well-maintained and provide easy access to enjoy the natural beauty. It's also a great spot for bird watching and occasionally spotting wildlife. The park is clean and well cared for, making it an ideal location for family outings or a solo adventure. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate the outdoors and want to reconnect with nature.

I went for a walk around the lake. The circumference is around 2 miles / 3.2 km. It was raining, but I still came across a lot of people walking their dogs, walking by themselves or running. The trail is very well maintained and anti slippery. The parking lot also had many spaces, but I could see it getting full on a pleasant day during peak hours.

December 23, 2023 - this place is amazing during Christmas. So much to see and learn all while decorated so beautifully. We had a great time. We highly recommend checking out the blacksmith shop, and going for a ride one the 110year old Carousel fully restored from playland back in the day. Its a site to see for sure.

One of my fave areas to go for a walk. An easy walk with lots of nice habitat to take in. I really enjoy the area where the wooden walkway takes you through the marsh, and during the warmer seasons you can spot some turts chilling on the logs in the lake. 🐢
