I decided to take my two young children to the Symphony for Kids showing of Charlotte and the Music Maker with Platypus Theatre at the Winspear Centre. The tickets for the 3 of us cost just under $100, which seemed a little steep when I thought about it at first, but once I realized it's an experience for them, it felt worth it. We arrived early as there were a number of activities available to do before the show I also picked up some popcorn and beverages. Luckily one of the popcorn was free as I had an Esso fuel receipt with me from within the past week, which was a nice little perk. I believe this is mentioned someplace on their website as Imperial Oil sponsors these events. As it was their first time experiencing the Winspear Centre, they were in awe of its beauty and phenomenal sound. The show was just under an hour in length. The narrator was quite engaging and entertaining to watch. The ESO was astounding to hear in this amazing venue. I'm sure we'll return again in the future.

We are so thrilled every time we get to hear the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra... especially when they play the classics! This Mozart & Mendelssohn Concert was wonderful! And the atmosphere is lovely! Best yet were the staff: I have arthritic knees so the tickets I was given as a gift had me seated in a place where I needed to use stairs. So I asked the staff if I could switch my tickets to a different more convenient spot and they said they had tickets set aside exactly for that type of situation 😊. I got to sit and enjoy the concert in comfort🥰. I highly recommend this wonderful center!

We had a fantastic time at the Music of Harry Potter event. Beautiful venue, barely a wait to get our tickets scanned and staff were helpful and friendly. Tonnes of affordable parking close by and restaurants within walking distance. Will absolutely be coming back for future ESO events.

It’s always a treat to be flooded with live, world class music and such a wide variety of performances for all ages and eras in a top tier facility. The drinks and snacks are a nice and they allow them in the main hall with holders on the new seats. Parking is a bit of a hassle/ walk but it’s a nice part of the city for a short stroll.

Watched the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra perform “Hollywood Hits” absolutely stunning acoustics. Fantastic performance, especially the rendition of Skyfall featuring Celeigh Cardinal. Aiming to go again for the upcoming Ennio Morricone performance
