FirstOntario Concert Hall Concerts 2024-2025

What bad things could be said about this space? I recently took a tour and was told that the space is 50 years old and yet was designed architecturally to amplify the vibrations of the sound on the stage and the amount of planning that went into the design was phenomenal. The fact that some of the musicians that were there on opening day are still participating in the Philharmonic Orchestra show that the administration and clerical side of this establishment are equally as grandiose and enjoyable. They were kind enough to host a Homeschool Group tour and were accommodating beyond words. They were prompt and scheduled and ran exactly how you think a concert hall should I have absolutely no complaints or recommendations for improvement I was grateful for the experience and have never been disappointed with a performance there. From the facility staff to the artists on stage to the administration in back of house the whole experience was glorious.

I do like the venue itself, it has its own parking which is paid unfortunately, the staff is great, the only issue is the seats are really uncomfortable, old and way too close together. This venue deserves an upgrade, I was on the floor and the seats were way too close together and the roads are way too close together to pass by people, other than that this place is fantastic! I also will say that I saw a comedian there, his set was 10 out of 10. Amazing, but the microphone volume was really low, I don't know if that's a common thing or what happened there, but this place needs some work and it could be a true gem. Everything except the acoustics and the seats were perfect!

Seen Jesus Christ superstar at the hall, there's not a bad seat in the house. The seats are roomy, and comfortable. The sound system was good, and the music was clear and loud. It's worth a visit.

Great time. Front row centre was an amazing experience but you couldn't dance...but you could at the back of the hall and the actual audio of singer's voice was alot better so we did back and fourth. Fabulous time, the band was totally awesome. Couldn't have asked for a better time...thanks Classic Seger.
