Slush Puppie Place Reviews

Slush puppy place isn’t a bad place for Kingston. It’s nice having a venue bands and comedians will come perform at. Building this place downtown was terrible and should have been built where there was space for parking. One reason I love Ottawa is for their parking. The venue itself. Expect to wait a super long time to get any food or drinks. They need people walking the stands to help get the beer drinkers out of lines and more staff to help relieve wait times. Prices are expensive like any venue. 13$ for two small slush puppies. Seats are tight so if you have anything to your hips expect to feel like your eating the arm rests and cuddling the people sitting beside you all show. Overall not a bad venue just could have been soooooo much better if more thought was put into it.

As a concert hall, Slush Puppie Place suffers from three terrible flaws: uncomfortable seats, $16 beer, and a very uncool name. Queens of the Stone Age were great, but those seats! It felt like we had been sitting in a penalty box for 2 hours. For hockey games it's probably fine as you can get up and move (budget carefully before deciding if you want a beer) every period of game play.

My first visit to Leon's Centre! Love that it is downtown and easy walking distance to many restaurants. We took the bus there and a taxi back to our hotel so I can't comment on parking. The venue was clean and easy to navigate; lines at the concession I visited were short. Security was the best part of this experience (besides the show itself lol). We interacted with a few different personnel and they were all super friendly and helpful. My only real complaint was that standing was frowned on (tho allowed for a song or two before the band gave the go ahead maybe 2/3 through the show). As far as arenas go (and I have been to several across Canada), this would rank high on my list.

What a great place to watch a comedian, hockey 🏒 or a concert. This was an amazing experience with Jim Jefferies as one of my favorite comedians in a smaller venue than going to Toronto or Ottawa 💯. The new arena is amazing compared to what I grew up watching the Kingston Generals as a kid. Great place to watch anyone without going to a major city, and it's a beautiful town. I highly recommend giving this place and town a try 💯.

First off it's the easiest rink to find. There is NO parking but a paid lot across the road. Very warm inside, the dressing rooms are very close to the ice. Only entrance 4.5 is open for minor hockey. It's where the Hip played their last show.
