The Centre 200 will be hosting the World's Women's Curling Championship from March 16th-24th. Thirteen teams from Canada (Rachel Homan), Denmark (Madeline Dupont), Estonia (Marie Kaldvee/Liisa Turmann), Italy (Stefania Costantini), Japan (Miyu Ueno), New Zealand (Jessica Smith), Norway (Marianne Rorvik), Scotland (Rebecca Morrison), South Korea (Eun-ji Gim), Sweden (Anna Hasselborg), Turkiye (Dilsat Yikdiz) and United States (Tabitha Peterson) will be competing for the converted gold medal 🏅 As I guaranteed, there was tremendous curling that took place this week and Team Canada -- the fantastic Team Rachel Homan --- took home the gold and truly made the nation proud.

Went to the Women's World Curling, it was great, mind you the parking sucks, especially when you are handicapped and thought because there were back doors you could get in them....NOT , had a long walk to the front of the building , stupid set up, go up a load of stairs, walk across a platform about 30 ft. long and than back down a bunch of stairs, especially using a cane, I usually use my walker, what the heck would have happened than. I only took my cane as I knew our seats were down front, but thought there was a different level you could go in to get to our seats. I actually asked the site where I bought my tickets if there was handicapped seating and they didn't reply, so we wanted to go to the game and didn't want to not be able to get tickets, so I had no choice but to purchase them. The game was great, a great experience, but enjoy watching it on television better, you can see the close up plays etc. Last time we were at this facility was to see Bryan Adams quite a few years ago for our anniversary, the prices for the last concert there just after things went back after Covid were ridiculously priced. I believe we paid $70.00 a ticket for the first concert and the cheapest this last concert was $500.00 a ticket, I don't know how they sold out or sold any for that matter...I love Bryan Adams but there's a certain price point I will stop at no matter who it is for.

A loss tonight 4-0. They played alright but the rimouski team is strong. We out shoot the competition but they had more quality shoots. Great ambiance and we always like to support our local product and have fun doing it. The cold beer are also an added plus. Till the next game. Cheers.

Great atmosphere but omg do not expect to get anything at the concessions in a timely fashion. It's one line up for beer 1 for popcorn and the whole arena is lined up. Pack a lunch and hunker down or you will miss the game.
