This hotel is incredibly clean and modern. The separation of hotel from casino is done very well, while still making access from one to the other very easy. At the time of our visit, some features were still under development (pool area being one), but they looked liked they will eventually be amazing. The only downsides were that the restaurants are all inside the casino (meaning you can't take children there to eat) and that currently everything outside of the hotel requires a drive to get to it.

I saw Excision in the theater hall last night, and it was great for the most part! Beautiful screen, capacity was very reasonable with plenty of space and multiple exits. My main issue was the bar service - I've never seen anything so slow in my life. Each transaction took over 10 minutes, without exaggeration; with a lineup of over 50 people, you can imagine the wait time. Many people gave up and left the line, which loses the casino money too. Fix this issue and it would be a perfect event venue.

This is a "brand new" complex. I found the hotel rooms to be large, however there are NO closets, no coat rack or coat closet. This is Canada, we wear heavy coats and boots for 4-5 months of the year. Where are we supposed to store these items??!!?? There is a very small wardrobe with 5 hangers, does anyone like to hang their suit next to their wet winter parka, I think not! Washroom is large and modern, however there are no hooks or shelves for guests to use. The room has very little furniture, it seems empty and cold. The Casino itself is huge, and as usual you must cross the casino floor to get anywhere. Lots of slots, and other games. The Poker Room is on the second level. It's very big, lots of tables. My only objection is the rake the casino takes, it's 10%! Overall it was a good experience...

I stayed at the hotel on May 4th with my sister for the concert. When attempting to enter the concert, the security guard stated I and my sister were too intoxicated and denied entry to the show. One of the management members stated I was not a concern; only my sister was. The security guard then stated he overruled the management team and that I was not allowed in. I continued a full-on conversation with him. I asked him to lower his voice and speak to me in a mature manner, as we are both adults. He rudely pointed to his chest and stated he was "trained" in knowing how to deal with people like us. I then explained to him that I am also in the helping field as I am a Social Worker. He then laughed, rolled his eyes, and stated if you like to think that. I understand that his job is to maintain everyone's safety, but both she and I were able to communicate with him for over five minutes in a good manner. We came to the hotel to see the concert and attend the casino. We did not plan to sue anyone, and he stated he was worried it would happen if we were to get hurt that he the hotel did not want to take liability for us. I contacted the hotel and no one got back to me about this. I will say though when we tried to enter from another spot another security guard came in, approached us and said we weren’t allowed to enter so I do appreciate their level to take things seriously if it actually was a serious manner. All this happened due to the fact we ran from the cost check to the lineup to get into the concert and we’re laughing. I spent a large amount of money to see this concert and sleep in the hotel. Even our meals were not made the way we asked, and our friend was not allowed a knife to cut their meat in the restaurant. Overall, the service was not the best. The only good service we received was from the cleaning lady helping us find our room. I also tried emailing them before posting this and no one got back to me.
