Ship Point (Inner Harbour) Concerts

Summertime weekend festivities abound at Ship Point in downtown Victoria. Whether it's the Mexican Festival or Jazz or any other celebration, Ship Point is THE downtown Victoria location for fun in the sun. Pop -up stands selling all manner of geegaws and chotskis line the pier. Tourists and locals alike , take part in the endless goings-on at Ship Point. Food stands are also available although there is a limited selection of primarily fair type foods. Downtown Victoria is only a few steps away for a much greater selection of food. Port a potties on site. Handicap ♿️ doable. Recommended

Here is a photo of SS Princess Victoria in Victoria Harbor around 1910. My grandfather, Edwin Parker, traveled from Boston to the west coast via Canadian National Railway. He snapped this photo of the steamship from Ship Point. On the right, Gatsby Mansion (Huntingdon Manor) is visible.

Attended Victoria Jazz Festival concert at Ships Point ! Excellent outdoor space! Food trucks , adequate washrooms ….. thumbs up 👍
