Love this theatre, nostalgic, preserved to show off its majestic aesthetics. The Burt events are varied and affordable. Another great performance last night, The Trews and Bleekers.

Went for Warren Zeiders concert. Really cool venue, and great sound. Although I do not recommend sitting in the top section. Was looking down on top of the singers head the entire show.

It's a beautiful theater, and the staff was all super nice. Make sure to check bag restriction sizes and stuff online before you go! Cons The lobby is very small so it's hard to pass through the consession lines and stuff to get to the the stairs. I feel like the seats are packed in tighter than they should be just to fit more people. I am a lean, average height woman and I had little leg room and could feel the person behind me hitting my the back of my seat repeatedly and I was almost touching my seat neighbor's shoulders. There are no railings on the stairs There are no cup holders We were on the 2nd balcony and it was HOT. I run hot, but even my sister that runs cold said she was hot. I was a sweaty blob. I bought 2 beers for $25. At the lobby drinks stand they had Trans Canada Brewing beers, I think it was Peller Family wine 1 red 1 white, Mike's hard iced tea, and Mike's hard lemonade. At the upstairs counter they had spirits as well.

The only good spots are on the floor. We were up in the nosebleeds, which was really uncomfortable on the knees because there wasn't enough room. We had 1 seat left beside us and even though there were many seats open behind us and around us for some reason they sat 2 people in ONE seat (instead of thinking that maybe the people had their seats wrong), they squished them beside us and made it even more uncomfotable. Paid over $100 to see the musicians, and we couldn't stay for the last band. My knees were in so much pain. I don't know how my 6'4 husband was doing because I'm 5'7 and struggled with comfort. The spund was so bad up there we couldn't hear the two bands we stayed for. I will avoid this place if I can.
