Exchange Event Centre Concerts 2024

Super awesome experience here with raw talent. Wonderful show. Great var service and awesome live music and talent showcase. Wonderful venue, lots of space and great layout.

Saw the Merkules show here on a Saturday night. The venue was clean and not over packed for a sold-out show. Security check was quick and no complaints. No wait for the coat check. Bartender was slow, but had to deal with tons of people so fully understandable.

Horrible staff. Never going back. Left our coats on the side and came back to them being gone. Called back the next day to ask if they had any in lost and found. The employee was extremely rude and told us they aren't responsible with an attitude. Wouldn't be surprised if employees threw them away out of spite based on how they responded on the phone. Doesn't hurt to have some decency. The guy giving out paper towels in the washrooms starts yapping if you don't leave him change. Like dude come on! Shame cause the artists here are usually great.

I went to the Key Glock concert on Nov 22, 2023. I went with my sister, and my girlfriend, and some of her friends. They never let anyone in, strictly to the 8 PM time. This was fine, but security was yelling at hundreds of freezing people telling us we were blocking too much of the sidewalk. When they finally let us in, instead of using metal detectors they decided without asking for consent to pat you down, and trust me they check everywhere. Then they scan your ID, and take a picture of you. The man who did this, on this day was SUPER rude, and did not have any customer service whatsoever, which was shocking. It made me feel like I should leave, which is not how you want to feel. Once you get in, there’s limited security to control the event. There was a lot of people during the concert trying to push me, or my sibling, or my girlfriend to get a better view. There were people who even threatened our group. We did not really feel safe. Overall this event centre has a long way to go, before they are on the likes of Canada Life Centre, or the Burton Cummings theatre. TLDR; avoid this place unless you really vibe with the performer

The place is really good for parties especially if the person performing is the one you like. If you wanna enjoy the weekend that’s the place i would say. Drinks ain’t budget friendly hahaha.
