It is the first time that I go to a concert at the venue of an excellent Chilean band, the place has good acoustics but little ventilation.

It was built by the Croatian community settled in Antofagasta, after the founding of the Antofagasta Sokol Sports Club, initially called Jugoslavenski Športski Klub Sokol Sports Club. It has a covered multi-court with a capacity for 6,500 people, baby soccer fields, swimming pool, radio facilities and a recreation yard. Access for the public is on Esmeralda Street and on Teniente Manuel Orella Street for the split sector (swimming pool). The Sokol Stadium is also used to hold musical events and variety fairs, where prominent international artists have performed, such as Gustavo Cerati, Europe and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, in addition to presentations such as The Great Moscow Circus, the Harlem Globetrotters and the defense of the world title of the Chilean boxer Crespita Rodríguez.
