Husova 534/20, Brno-město, 602 00 Brno-Brno-střed, Czechia
The building of the Brno Philharmonic, which is called in Czech Besední dům, is one of the most important in the historical center of the city. This cultural shrine, built from 1871 – 1873 according to plans by the architect Theophil von Hansen, was the workplace of the famous Czech composer and conductor Leoš Janáček. The building was originally multi-functional and was used as a place for public meetings, musical, theatrical, political and educational events. Over time, Besední dům has become a center of music thanks to the Beseda brněnská philharmonic choir.

Klasika, one of the most cultured concert halls in Brno. Excellent variety shows. A somewhat harder chair.

It might have been enough at the time of creation. It is better to go elsewhere for proper music, but where in Brno? Terrible auditorium as in a cultural center in the village, acoustics as dry as pepper, poor performers and listeners. Cartoon snack bar with endless queue

Beautiful and pleasant environment. I felt very comfortable

Beautiful spaces, but the seating order at concerts has its flaws, because as much space as possible is used for as many seats as possible, there is little space for walking between the rows, the chairs are too close to each other.
