The location is good and the view from the room was beautiful but is not enough to compensate for the other shortcomings. The hotel considers itself a 4 star hotel but falls well below the mark, cutting corners, ignoring details and repeatedly showing guests they don’t care. First, be prepared to spend a significant amount of time waiting on the lift. They are old, very slow and always full. It is a problem exacerbated by the high amount of non-guests using the lifts to access the Sauna. Next, service is the same sub-par service the Czech Republic is notorious for. Breakfast hours are supposed to go until 10. In a standard hotel that would mean food is taken away at 10 but you can finish your food and coffee. Here they try to push you out at 10. Similarly at the hotel pool/ sauna they turned everything off a half hour before closing time. We wanted an extra towel so we don’t have to use the same towel where we dried off chlorine pool water when fresh out of the shower. We asked the maid and she told us we could not have an extra. Towels are not provided at the hotel pool so you are expected to just use your bathroom towel. We went to talk to the massage receptionist and without asking us any information first just dismissively told us “We are reserved for the seriously ill.” No attempt to tell us when they might have availability or help us further. The hotel room is old and outdated with minimal decorations and impractically designed. For example there is a couch and a TV but you cannot watch the TV from the couch because it is in a different part of the room. If you want to use the toilet at night you have no choice but a blinding white bathroom light. I could go on and on… The hotel is in no way worth the price.

we didn't stay at the hotel but used the 1h pass to use the spa and we were very pleasantly impressed, I must say. per person 500 crowns for 1h, u get complimentary towels, but take ur own slipper otherwise 60crowns, and for every minute of over-stay, they charge you 2 crowns which I find fair! very clean complex, attentive service, and lots to do!! many options of sauna rooms, some even ceremonial, large swimming pool and outdoor Jacuzzi....highly recommended!!

Hotel is high, there are 15 floors, but elevators are extremely inconvenient (slow). We spent a lot of time near elevators, despite the number of elevators (4 elevators). Breakfast is good, slightly above average. Dinner is slightly pricey for what they offer, but the food itself also is slightly above average. Rooms were renovated recently, but it already looks outdated. Overall, I think the hotel is a strong 3 star hotel, not 4 as they say. There are a lot of things to improve to become a 4 star hotel.

Overrated, overpriced, worn out facility directly from the 90's or 80's. Positives: From the things we can name as a positive is good location, nice view from the windows... And thats it. Negatives: The Hotel rating should be lower by far... shocking is the price vs the quality of the facilities. front desk - it is so worn out, that there are marks on the desk where the keys are delivered (polished 2 spots on each desk xD). Room was tiny for the price we paid per night (150e), bed was rock hard, maybe 5cm of the materace. Design from the 90s. carpet worn out as it would be on the floor also since the 90s - clear marks of worn out. I could write longer list of the things are begging for the renovation, but lets move on. Breakfast - is OK as for the local czech standard - no stomach problems after, however 4 star hotel and 150e a night i would expect way more than this. Pools and access - last year when they open after renovation was super nice, but now, same story, it need a maintenance and the price you need to add (200czk) to have full day access is not worth it at all. It was our first and last stay. It is worth maybe to use only the thermal baths and stay in waaay better hotels for a 1/3 of their price. There is one just in front, on the other side of the river.

Thought of checking the casino with my wife. A very rude bouncer called on someone and once we put our foot in the casino to talk to her, he suddenly pushed me. He can't speak English but we could tell he was being aggressive even verbally for no reason at all. Went to the reception to file a complaint about this guy, the reception told me we don't know a manager of the casino and we can't get your complaint. What a poor reaction when one of your guests being attacked physically. Could never feel safe in such place.
