Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie a svatého Karla Velikého Concerts

I haven't been inside. I understand you can only go in for service or till 5pm ? Anyway, see my photo for the times of service. The garden isn't rich, but feels nice. It is open 5pm-6pm in summer and closed for winter they say.

Amazing historic church built by King Charles IV in 1300s. I go here to participate in the traditional Latin Mass using 2000 year old liturgy instead of the protestanised 1960s Novus Ordo. Architecture and organ sound are truly uplifting and enhance the traditional Latin Mass Spirit.

I went there for Giovanni Pierluigi Palestrina's "Missa de beata virgine". Organ, trumpet and choir. This was performed during the mass, I would have preferred a concert performance, when the focus is placed on the music. The church itself is beautiful.

A unique piece of Gothic architecture, an overlooked landmark of Prague with rich history, certainly worth a visit. There is Traditional Latin Mass with beautiful choral singing every Sunday an on important feast days.
