Amazing museum with rotating exhibitions, mostly Czech contemporary and modern artists. Visit every time I am in Prague

Beautiful mid-side private museum showing in detail a collection of works by 2 reknowned Czech artists. Not-so-inexpensive entrance fee.

It’s very nice and modern museum however for the high price I would expect the exhibition to be a little bigger. You could see everything in 30 min . If you are into abstract art I would definitely recommend!

I would classify this as a museum with local modern art, even though some of the exhibited Czech artists lived and worked abroad. As such it is less interesting than other (contemporary) art museums in Prague (see my other reviews) and too expensive. However, the location near Charles Bridge is convenient and the Cerny sculptures outside are nice.

A small museum located in a villa right beside the river, Kampa houses a great collection of works of mainly czech artists such as Jan Hendrych, Libomir Pribyl, Franticek Kupka and Gutfreund. We both felt that the collections were well-curated and absolutely worth the entry price of 350 crowns per person. If you're interested in art, this definitely is a must-see in Prague.
