U Zavěšenýho Kafe Concerts

Every time I visit Prague I visit this cafe at some time or other, and have done for years. It's in a great location, and the food and beer is great. In summer it's very pleasant to sit in their "sun terrace" and have lunch. I miss their bacon pancakes with apple sauce though, which they took off the menu a couple of years ago.

Great authentic, down-home Czech food in a charming pub environment. One of the few places I found with turkey and salmon on the menu, both simply and deliciously prepared. Prices are low, and the gruff staff warms to strangers quickly.

We had a hard time finding it, but had I paid closer attention to the Google User photos, it would have been obvious - look for the ivy all over the top of the door. There is an interior court yard eating area, which is very cozy. The food was fantastic, and I ordered the more "local" cheese (strong flavor) and thought it was great. We all ordered appetizers and all four of us ordered a dessert (all of which were pretty large), and drinks (tea, soda, etc.) and we left there for around $60USD. Can't beat the value, or the cuisine. Would definitely go back!

Cosy pub with decent local food. Not too full of tourists when we were there. If I found myself in this part of Prague again I'd definitely return.

Great place for traditional Czech dishes. They have a hanging coffee system where you can contribute a coffee to a less fortunate person or get a coffee if you are one.
